About Western Economic Council

The Western Economic Council (WEC) is a non-profit Ohio corporation organized in 1985 by business leaders and interested citizens. Our purpose is to promote high quality and balanced economic development and redevelopment throughout western Hamilton County. For thirty years, we have worked to stimulate detailed understanding of the challenges our area faces and to encourage community pride and support.

Our monthly Leaders Breakfast Meetings are held the third Friday of each month at Nathanial Green Lodge, Western Hills Country Club, and Clovernook Country Club on a rotating basis. These meetings present timely and informative topics as well as providing the perfect forum to meet new businesses, community leaders and residents.

The partnership with government, education, business and residents results in protecting and improving our quality of life here in Western Hamilton County.
